Day 01:Arrived in Chengdu (present original letter to you)

Heading to the hotel and check in. Provide free airport pick-up service。

We advise that you keep enough sleep on the day before entering Tibet，which can relieve your altitude sickness and try to arrange to arrive in Chengdu before the evening. If you cannot arrive in Chengdu before7p.m, be sure to inform in advance.

Day02:Take the train from Chengdu(21:37) or Chongqing(22:25) to Tibet
Accommodation:Accommodation:On the train.

Chengdu-Lhasa and Chongqing-Lhasa car shifts alternately every other day. Pick up a train in chengdu or chongqing according to the train departure time. For those boarding in chongqing, the tour fee includes a Chengdu-Chongqing bullet train ticket,which means you don’t have to pay for the ticket from Chengdu to Chongqing.
You should arrive at chengdu (chongqing) railway station two hours in advance, ready to take the world's highest altitude, known as the "sky road", the longest plateau railway.

Day3:Run on the vast road
Accommodation:On the train.

Along the way, we will pass the beautiful Qinghai Lake, stop at Golmud and cross Kunlun Pass. We will see the majestic and broad Kunlun Mountains and glacial water passes through the world's highest beacon mountain tunnel. Pass through Keexili Tibetan antelope reserve and Tuotuo River,which is the source of the Yangtze river. Cross Tanggula mountain pass, the highest railway crossing in the world, and then enter the beautiful Qiangtang grassland. You can enjoy unique wildlife resources. If you are lucky enough, you may see the Tibetan antelope passing by through the window.

Day4:Arrive at Lhasa.

When you just arrived at the plateau, you’d better slow down your step and relax yourself. We will bring you back to the comfortable hotel to have a rest.
【Intimate reminder】
When you just arrived at the plateau, all in your mind is”slow ,slow ,slow”! If you have mild headache, dizziness, vomiting, etc. These symptoms are normal. You will feel better the next day. If the symptoms are serious, please let the guide know or let the staff in Lhasa know.

Day5:Lhasa: the Potala Palace，Jokhang Temple，Barkhor Street
Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Lhasa.

In the morning, we will visit the world’s highest altitude ancient palace complex【the Potala Palace】,which is residents of the Dalai Lama and the center of Tibetan political and religious power. Before climbing up the Potala Palace, you need to climb up 1080 steps. Though might be a little bit tired, you can overlook the entire city of Lhasa. The fabulous scene certainly will let us forget physical exhaustion!
In the afternoon, we will visit the holy places Jokhang Temple. In the hearts of Tibetan Buddhist believers,「Going to Lhasa without going to the Jokhang Temple means that I have never been to Lhasa.」, which is spoken by the fomous Lama Nima Tsering. Most of visitors agree to this view.
When you go out Jokhang Temple, you can take a circle around the it., imagine yourself as a Tibetan. You can also go to the famous handicraft market 【Bajiao Street】to look for something interesting. Or you just walk down the street freely and enjoy the warmth of City of Sunlight.

The tickets of the Potala Palace should be booked in advance. The visit hours are also limited. We will adjust the itinerary according to the actual time of the appointment. There will be a security check in the Potala Palace. No hazardous material. No photo.

Day6:Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery
Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Lhasa.

Welcome to Lhasa morning, you can choose to get up early and take a walk along the Lhasa river. Or you can sleep until you wake up naturally.
After breakfast,tourguide will lead you to visit Drepung Monastery, one of the six major temples of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. There is a grand ceremony of Buddha exhibition here at the end of June and the beginning of July of the Tibetan calendar every year. It is also known as the Sho Dun Festival.
In the afternoon, we go to Sera Monastery,which is also one of the six main temples of the Tibetan Buddhism Gelugpa. "Sera" means wild rose in Tibetan. Legend has it that wild roses grew here and there when the temple was built. Sera temple is famous for its sutras debate.The debate garden is at the north end of the main entrance. The debate starts at 15:00 and can be watched at will.

Day7:Lhasa-the Samye Monastery–Tsetang
Accommodation:Four-star hotel in Tsetang.

In the morning, Starting from Lhasa, we go to the birthplace of Tibetan civilization. First of all, we visit Tibet's first buddhist temple - the Samye Monastery. It was Akamatsu Desan who commissioned Ji huoto construct and invited padmasambhava master to preside over the construction of Sangye.

Day8:Tsetang–Yungbulakang Palace–tomb of early Tibetan king
Accommodation: Four-star hotel in Lhasa.

After breakfast, we drive to Yongbukang Palace, Tibet's first palace,which means ‘A palace on the hind legs of a doe’. It was the palace of Tubo Zangpu in all dynasties. Then we go to the tomb of early Tibetan king. The tomb of the king of Tibet belongs to the state key cultural relics protection unit. The tombs stand against the Mountain Pagodas and face the Yarlung river, which shows that Tubo had paid great attention to the Feng shui of the mountain and water. At last, we return to Lhasa along the Yarlung Zangbo Valley.

Day9:Lhasa—go back to Chengdu

After the end of the trip, you can choose to take the plane or the Qinghai-Tibet Railway train back to the warm home.
